In this album I rap over Ronald Jenkees' "Snap". It's a six-minute fast rap tune which cannot be included here since I legally cannot make any money off of the song.

When we gamble to stray from wrong There’s o tell who’ll be gone Once kept warm from evening on Wards off bitter shivers Sleeps so long So long completed REM cycle Three to four hours of rest might do Shaken awaken from nightmares once called dreams Pulling apart the thought at the seems Keep on working the short long shift Keeping work on the long short of it Could be that once you sit down You won’t get up again for awhile And that’s okay, it’s all okay, everyone seems okay But that’s fine, it’s fine, everybody’s just alright alright alright! I was fibbing Just leave it be okay?

How to Feel Today? Another chance to practice acting, hurray! It’s all there… Oh delicate dame, Not one day, So Lost And tossed around On the magical History tour Sunken and Sewered Find a cove to take cover From the flurry of news Written down now To be misinterpreted later Misconception, mis contraception, Another beautiful soul ushered out into this world Fill him up with fears Lies and fibs bring him to tears To f*** up Decisions Just breathe slowly at first Being selfish There’s always time for responsibilities later And it’s all always true If it’s all informed decisions

Couldn’t get enough eh-now would’ya look-at-that, One Hiphop beat and Karly D’s back, Of course I’d say it so matter-a-fact, Come on inside, kick your feet up, and sit on back. Wrote this whole track just, diss-ya again, Wrote an LP in a year, now that’s discipline! Sets of five crunches, ooo so masculine, Heads up in the clouds, ahh thanks mescaline! The omniscient penny-stock investor, Profitless cornucopia, so sick of trash. Bested by the Tweety to my Silvestor, Looks like I’m the one sufferin’ succotash! End Conversation: [2] Woah, what are you doing? Staph, staph! [cut music abruptly] It says here you’re an acoustic singer-songwriter! [1] More like a fire-igniter, the label denier with niter whose lyrics are tighter. [2] I guess, well, those are words that rhyme... but let’s just stick to our musical label [1] Nah, I’d rather live in this fable

Death devised another plot or plan To construct on another plot of land He purchased after saving more souls Of gracious folk with no morals Lucifer’s Luxury Hotels, had to take out a loan A risk based on this, Year’s worth of tombs But an investment prospect for his home Yet above the Earth’s crust, where survival is a must People delay every virus, life expectancy jumps a hundred plus A shaky Satan trembles at the sight of his misfortune Knowing full-well that he’ll need to make payment soon “How many times, Do I have to send Those GOD-DAMNED LETTERS? before I hit the bend. Just to sit back, And watch my GOD DAMN DEBT SURGE” Close to foreclosure he sends out another brochure In attempt to lure those of souls more pure “Have a swim in the pool, it’s sweltering hot! you ought to dwell for a time in hell One single payment, one soul to sell What a deal (steal *whispered*)!” Lucifer’s Luxury Hotels, Had to take out a loan A risk based on this, Year’s worth of tombs Even though the thought, Of foreclosure looms With spirits drained, his “soul” currency remained, only one option left to be repaid Disillusioned laughs all the way to the bank Knowing full-well how much his stock sank Off to see Crowley, failing with his current plea Had to give up the deed

Mind Games 03:29
Honestly the thoughts of me portrayed by myself Through a passerby’s eyes made up by sick minds Allow me to requestion how I’m viewed It’s nothing new, been mixing a fixing how to think My thoughts are skewed, but what can I do? Talk to a friend, write it with a journal and pen, Hold it in? No but where to begin. As a buddy once said, “How can you know something’s off in your head When from where your thoughts stem is the problem?” It’s odd feeling closer to friends who can’t stay Then they move far away, hope you check back in someday

Why is it that every time you’re near, I can’t help but smile? It’s infectious this love, eh dear? You’d take an inch, but I’d give a mile. Don’t worry I won’t spread too thin Sharing love with everyone I meet Keeps me content to take it all back in The more love you give, the more is created. It’s simple chemistry really Water those grounded seeds then consume To convert into energy used to caress Instead of into this angry mess. I must confess that it’s rather trying, to perform While tending to these emotions Averting the storm. Created within by sin repeated over again. Live, Love Let It Go Live, Love Let It Go Live, Love Let It Go Live, Love Let It Go

Awaken from that beautiful daze To heartache Fallen back into the haze Insatiate With guilt occupying the days Contemplate what’s been built All time spent overthinking Proves frustrating All unknowns are left to reside In castles in the clouds To the Queen of which Happiness is endowed Two worlds brought together By the same endeavor, Set out to adventure True heart’s conjecture. Karma sure must think he’s clever Equalize our fates forever All unknowns are left to reside To castles in the clouds To the Queen of which Happiness is endowed

about

I've dealt with social anxiety throughout parts of my life and there's always a looming fear of suddenly leaving this world behind. I've put all that emotion into the lyrics and the music herein.

The lyrics are derived from a series of journal entries over the past 10 years. The music is meant to be dreary. Lending a sense of fear itself and hopefully I've managed to fill up the more jarring tunes with anxiety. In any case, I had lots of fun composing "Anticipatory Anxiety and the Fear of Death".

I started as an acoustic singer-songwriter, but in this album I added electronic instruments, drums, skits, whispers, and my first ever composed rap song! Hope you enjoy the music!

Thanks for stopping by to listen :)

Karly D Toronto, Ontario

From the open mic nights in my hometown of Sarnia, to the cafes in Montreal, and finally to his room in Toronto. Music has always been a large part of my life. Years of acoustic jamming with friends while keeping a recorder and notebook handy has lead to my relaxing debut Raw EP "Mad Chedda". The second album "AAatFoD" instills a sense of unease in my exploratory music :) ... more
